The Dan'l Boone Region Antique Automobile Club of America hosted its 39th Annual Allandale Car Show on the front lawn of the historic Allandale Mansion in Kingsport.

With perfect weather, this year's event drew hundreds of entrants and even more onlookers.

This year's show, a recognized part of modern Kingsport's centennial celebration. Three focal points of the show included a 1917 Ford Model T (from the year of the city's incorporation): a 1967 Pontiac GTO, from the era when Kingsport would have been marking its half-century point and cruising Broad Street was a popular weekend-night activity for young folks; and a nod toward the future: a Tesla electric automobile.

An exhibit inside the mansion included memorabilia from local businesses over the years, with an extensive display on Tom Still Transfer, Inc.
